Delete your CaterKing account

CaterKing accounts can be created through our mobile app and website. If you create an account, you can also request that it is permanently deleted, along with associated personal data that we are not legally required to keep.

Temporary deactivation or “freezing” an account is not offered as a substitute for deletion.

If you still have access to the app and can sign in:

• Open the CaterKing app and sign in.
• Go to Profile (account) → Delete Account.
• Read the warning, type DELETE to confirm, and submit.
• When deletion succeeds, you will be signed out and will no longer be able to use that login.

If you can sign in to the CaterKing website:

• Open https://caterking.co.uk/delete-account and sign in if prompted.
• Confirm you understand deletion is permanent.
• Type DELETE and choose Delete account.
• When deletion succeeds, you are signed out immediately.

If you cannot open the app or sign in on the website, email us and we will process the request manually:

• Email: admin@caterking.co.uk
• Subject line: Account Deletion Request
• Include: the email address registered to your CaterKing account, your full name, and (if known) your business name.

When your deletion request is completed, we delete or irreversibly anonymise:

• Your login credentials and authentication sessions (including refresh tokens).
• Profile details such as name, email address, phone number, and profile picture.
• Business contact and address fields linked to your customer account (anonymised where order history still references the business record).
• Shopping carts and favourites associated with your account.

We may retain certain records where we have a legitimate need or legal obligation, including:

• Order, invoice, and accounting records required for UK tax, audit, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution (typically up to six years, or longer if a dispute is ongoing).
• Minimal anonymised identifiers needed to keep those historical order records consistent in our systems.
• Retained order records are no longer connected to a usable login and are not used for marketing. Full details are in our Privacy policy.

In-app deletion is usually completed immediately when the request succeeds in the app.

Email requests are normally completed within 30 days of us verifying your identity. We will confirm by email when the deletion is finished, or if we need more information.
